Groundskeeper/Apartment Turn Tech

BECO Asset Management, LLC, is seeking a reliable and motivated Groundskeeper/Turn Technician to join our team at 1200 Acqua Luxury Apartments in Petersburg, VA. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping properties clean, well-maintained, and move-in ready for residents. • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of community grounds and common areas by promptly removing trash and debris.
• Maintain dumpster enclosures, ensuring they are clean, functional, and visually appealing.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs and HVAC filters as necessary.
• Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the pool and surrounding areas, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for new residents, ensuring all units are in optimal, market-ready condition.
• Address resident service requests and work orders in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
• Participate in an on-call emergency service rotation with other maintenance team members, providing support as needed.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance (commercial or residential) is strongly preferred.
• Some building maintenance or residential home repair experience preferred; multi-family experience is a definite plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including cold, snow, heat, and rain.
• Available for night and weekend on-call duty (generous call pay provided).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with residents, coworkers, and the general public, both on and off the property.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
